you have GOT to be kidding me...

my absolute favorite season to dress for is fall, always has been. i loved back to school shopping as a kid and would brib my dad to let me wear my new clothes early. in my annual search for new fall clothing i am on the hunt for some sweet new wedges... i hit up my favorite shoe website endless (you can't beat free overnight shipping!) and i found these HORRENDOUS shoes.

what the hell were they thinking when they designed these shoes? better question, what were they ON? i don't know what was worse: finding that these shoes existed OR seeing that they actually had a review! you are not going to believe this....

"As far as looks, this shoe is exactly what I was looking for; but, the fit is no good. Based on reviews from other websites, I ordered the shoe a half size larger than what I normally wear and it was still snug. Also, there is virtually no arch support. Its not a shoe that you could wear all day long but its good quality and very cute."

i mentioned last week the gorgeous weather we've been having here in washington. over the weekend angela and i went out to washington park for a little photo shoot. her and i weren't the only people excited to get out in the sunshine. i swear that... THE WHOLE TOWN OF ANACORTES WAS OUT THERE! we felt so silly trying to hunt down the perfect spots for pictures. not only that but when we did find them, people would appear out of the trails catching us taking angelas "senior pictures". angela wants everyone to know that she is not at all pissed off in these pictures... she said she needs to, "work on my face". here are a couple from saturday, we are hoping to get to causland park to take a few more.

season change please...?

i am in serious need of some thawing... where are you spring?! i can not wait to wake up to the sun, the birds chriping and the smell of spring. and in honor of the up coming change i just accidentally ordered these new dresses from forever.

other spring time activities i am looking forward to:

-after work drinks in the beer garden at the brown

-having the windows in our apartment open 24 hours

-cruising with the sunroof open

-wearing sandals & dresses everyday

found this dress online awhile back but just recently made the purchase. of course i got it in the black but now that i've fallen head over heels for it i'll be getting the red and maybe the evergreen. i wore it out the other night with many rave reviews. my girlfriends all plan to purchase them as well. it's the ultimate traveling dress, in a few different colors you're set for at least a week. be sure to watch the video on the 15 ways to wear it!

my big purchase last weekend was this exciting book! i am a big fan of rachel zoe, it's either you love her or hate her. i belong to the love side...


the feeling i have about the second season coming out is similar to a kid on christmas. talking about it with the sister, my eyes get the size of saucers, it's silly really... but hey, we all have our guilty pleasures!

on my wish list

i have always loved fall and it's cool crisp air... & now that the '09 fall collections are coming out im obsessing over all the new purchases i need i make... i can't wait for these boots to be mine! im envisioning short dresses, tights and a cute leather jacket (faux of course).

for as long as i can remember i have loved fashion... i remember loving madonna so much that i would dress up like her and walk around my neighborhood. outfit highlights: my moms white heels with lace overlay, lace fingerless gloves, hair in a side pony & jelly bracelets...
when i was in high school i had stacks of magazines in my room that dated back about 3 or more years. i could not get rid of them, i even cut out pictures of my favorite models and used them as wallpaper. let's face it, the models of the 90's were so hot!
i think the only thing stopping me from being a full blown fashionista is lack of moo-lah. i have a wishlist right now that is HUGE. some of the price tags would scare you...
